Role description
This position will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the procurement process for the material (20%) and services (80%) that will be required for Chromite Mines (Sukinda, Saruabil and Kamardha). All activities including vendor development, interaction, tendering & negotiation of contracts, delivery management (stores management) and key contract management would be under the scope.
Close co-ordination with all customers departments and closure of PRs/Concerns as per defined timeline
#Contract management of MDO Contract and resolve issues arising in the MDO contract through constant engagement with all stakeholders
#Ensure timely receipt of all materials delivered by the vendors after endorsement of Receiving
#To timely raise Quality Assurance settlement process for the materials against which Goods receiving
#To ensure that the system Stocks tallies with Physical Stocks by institutionalizing a Physical counting and stock verification system.
#To deploy a system of monitoring Safety and Security practices in all storage/warehouse area.
# Ensuring safe handling, decanting, dispensing of diesel in and around diesel pump station
#To deploy systems to improve the accuracy of transactions and thereby the quality of work. # Implementation of 5S
#To constantly study the work systems and make improvements in Safety, Security, productivity of Transactional Processes, Quality of output, Morale and Customer Satisfaction.
Decide vendor panel in discussion with Proc. Head, Issuance of RFQ, obtain techno commercial offers, co-ordinate with user for the technical discussion and evaluation of the offers. Prepare comparative statement, prepare cost model, obtain price benchmark etc. for negotiation to finalise the commercial terms, negotiation, allocation of share of business. Preparation of sanction request and obtain management approval based on the DOP. Order preparation and sending to the vendors after release. Ensuring proper documentation and timely delivery. Responsible for governance process following DOP and end to end procure to pay process.
Renegotiations, Dispute management, change orders & price revision as per contract price variation clause, contract amendments. Carrying out contract management review for high value and critical contracts in coordination with user department for the performance improvement.
To create and monitor SOP for contractors in the area. Ensure Logging of Safety observations by all Supervisors in the department
Receive material in stores thorough GRN entry, ensure proper stacking /storage and issue through GI entry based on user request in the form of material requisition. Inventory management, maintain records of quality issues faced and their occurrence etc. Monitor and ensure proper scrap disposal, proper handling of hazardous material in demarcated space, cleanliness of storage areas and other daily maintenance activities. Prepare accurate documentation related to receipt, issuance of material & raw material. Prepare monthly store reconciliation statement/MIS. Ensure periodic material audits in stores for verification and legal compliance. Ensure safe warehouse operation including Diesel storage area.

Make GRNs as per the orders. Coordinate with Shops and the departments for the safe delivery of materials
Vendor identification in the areas where there is scarcity, develop core set of suppliers / service providers for both material and service category

Other details
1) Full time Degree in Engineering in any discipline or
2)Full-time MBA/ Executive MBA from an AICTE recognized institute / IIM / empanelled International colleges or
3)Graduates in any discipline (from a recognized institute)
Minimum 5 years experience in Commercial cluster
